Giving Back
 

Urban Kids Photography works with several non-profit organizations in the metro Detroit area and nationwide, often creating charity events and donating proceeds of that event or offering low-cost or free portrait services.

pro bono services are donated in the following cases:

•    Loss of family photos due to fire, flood, or other catastrophic events
•    Chronically or terminally ill children
•    Infant berevement
•    Families separated due to military deployment
•    Auction items for charitable events and organizations
•    Orphan and adoption placement and family services

Award-winning photographer Karen Lippowiths is the official Urban Kids Photographer, specializing in contemporary candid location portraits of babies, children, tweens, teens and seniors in metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan.  Karen is available for private, commercial, and editorial assignments nationwide as part of the Urban Kids Photography Tour. Karen also teaches photography workshops and one-on-one photography mentoring programs and offers The Focused Photographer business resource kit.
