'Tis the Season

We're closing in on what has been the busiest month we've ever had and the holiday orders are flying out. It's been a great month . . . super busy. I can almost smell the turkey roasting next week and look forward to things drawing down as the holidays near. We've got a huge stash of blog shots going months back (the more work there is, the less time we have for the blog), so we'll keep posting long into the winter! Check back parents. For now, check out these super cuties! Love the festive holiday get-up on the first little guy (who, incidentally is Jewish) . . . way to get into the holiday (at least Hanukkah) spirit little "J."

Monkey Boy & Thinking Toward 2010

This little monkey boy, "A," did such a great job during our recent session. I love these three fun and color-filled shots so much I'm thinking of trading them out as my web pictures for a while. These are exactly what mom ordered (in this very order) as a story board (just what I would've done).

Also, I'm beginning to think about 2010 and will be making some projections soon. We'll definitely be taking the number of mini-sessions down considerably (we had a large request for full sessions and had to turn away many clients due to the overflow volume) and we'll be taking down the number of sessions overall -- I want more of a life! We've had several pre-bookings so far and continue to add to our 2010 wait list. If you're thinking you might want a mini-session, NOW is the time to be in touch. We are not going to be able to accommodate everyone on the wait list (sorry) but we hope to be able to reserve a place for all those who know they want to join in.

We're looking toward the holidays. As a reminder, all holiday card orders must be finalized (paid in full and design approved) by November 24 and all orders must be finalized by December 1 for 2009 delivery. Any orders placed after these dates will be delivered shortly after the New Year.

The "C" Family (Ann Arbor Children's Photographer)

What fun I had with the "C" family a few weeks ago in Ann Arbor. We took the University of Michigan campus by storm (little "C" intermingled with several prospective student tour groups and even stole the show away from one tour guide at the Union). The first shot below is handsome little "C" in his GQ pose, getting the attention of all the freshman girls. As a photographer, there's nothing better than a casual, relaxed "go with the flow" family. When you totally click, the clicks just come. Thanks "S," "B" and little "C."

The hot chocolate has been flowing, Christmas carols filling the air, and the designs are coming fast and flurrious! We've had several pre-orders already and came up with 100 (yeah, we had that much sugar and caffeine!) new original and unique design options for the 2009 holiday season!

Clients may contact us directly to access the design directory. There are lots of fun mix & match options and ways to personalize your design. All holiday orders must be finalized by November 24 for delivery by December 15. All 2009 orders must be finalized by December 1.

"G" Wiz! Cute Kids! Plymouth Children's Photographer

Love the cute "G" boys below. These were photographed in downtown Plymouth a few weeks ago, just as the weather started to turn cold. Looks like "fall" in those shots.

Beautiful "M" below and her little pooch were photographed in Birmingham recently. LOVE those locks! :) She is such a gorgeous girl with naturally curly hair.
