J. Crew Studio Services Account = Modeling Casting Call

Big news!  We were recently awarded a "professional studio services" account with national retailer J. Crew and we're in talks with a major children's retailer regarding another exciting project.  This means we'll be doing many more rounds of editorial and fashion shoots like the one seen here.  What does this mean for you?  We need models!

Grand Success!

What a day yesterday turned out to be!  I can only say how humbled and grateful I am for such a huge turnout at yesterday's Grand Opening event.  We worked really hard to create a fun family adventure and to round up awesome prizes and a lunch for everyone and you turned out in huge numbers to support us.  I'm still aching a bit from all the work that led to yesterday (set up, take down, cleaning that is still yet to be done) but suffice it to say today was a complete "afterglow" for me.  THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

We look forward to continuing our mission of providing an outstanding experience of creating stylized custom portrait art and to working to make Urban Kids Photography the premier photography studio in metro Detroit.  With the love and support you showed us yesterday, we know we can.  We look forward to continuing our journey with you.
 
 
 
Welcome, Asia, to the Urban Kids Team!

Detroiters!  If you think this is a familiar face, you're right!  Asia currently graces the March cover and has a full spread in Hour Detroit magazine.  You'll soon be seeing this young dynamo around the studio as well.  Asia will join the Urban Kids Photography team part-time as Creative Coordinator.  You'll be working with Asia when scheduling a session and making other arrangements for your shoot.  She'll also help with other critical internal tasks to help keep the business humming along.  Asia is already a "veteran" in the modeling / photography world and brings tremendous mileage and "street smarts" to Urban Kids.  I'm thrilled to have her and I know you'll love working with her as much as I already do!  Welcome aboard, Asia!
