Between new business ventures (stay tuned!), the usual work load, and my car accident, I fell pretty far behind in March.  So I'm just getting around to this post of "M" today. I visited her in West Bloomfield for an indoor photography shoot recently.  Because it was so COLD here in Southeast Michigan (it SNOWED yesterday!), her dining room was our "natural light studio."  Check out her porcelain smooth skin and sparkly clear eyes.  What a cutie!  I had a tough time choosing among the shots for blogging, so I included A LOT!

As a follow-up to my February 23, 2009 blog posting "It's a Boy," I'm thrilled to help welcome Baby "E".  He arrived on Sunday night and is just gorgeous!  I worked with him yesterday evening at less than 24 hours old as part of the first 48 newborn photography program.  As a Detroit baby photographer, I make myself on call and visit clients anywhere in metro Detroit and southeast Michigan within 48 hours of the birth.

I wasn't able to make it to Beaumont Hospital until early evening and was very nervous abotu the lighting (typically, hospital lighting is not kind). I'm a candid, natural light photographer and never use flash. I thought the shots came out nicely though, with a warm, rich tone. Thanks so much "W" family for making me a part of your special day!
