JULY 27, 2008 - Don't worry, "Miss E," we won't burst your bubble -- you ARE the cutest thing in town and such a natural with the camera. Thanks for all the fun we had tonight. I wonder what big sis will say when she sees you all the way from vacation (she'll be so jealous when she sees how gorgeous you look). She'll have to catch up with us next time. JULY 15, 2008 - I know it's impossible to imagine that we're half way through the summer and that my calendar is already booked through the end of August, but it's true. Thank you to all my clients! Can't wait to see you in the coming weeks. I will still make exceptions for First 48 clients and newborn clients, so if this is something you're thinking about, please give me a call. I'll do my best to fit you in.
And while we're on the subject, I'm already booking photo shoots as far off as December and a few in September and October. PLEASE NOTE I WILL BE OUT OF THE COUNTRY ON VACATION NOVEMBER 21 - DECEMBER 15 (as in NO cell phones, NO e-mail, NO Photoshop!). This will seriously impact holiday orders this year, so PLEASE THINK AHEAD and BE IN TOUCH NOW if you'd like a holiday shoot and your pieces to arrive on time. |

JULY 15, 2008 - The only thing I can think of when I see these two GORGEOUS gals is sweet, yummy "pink lemonade." They just look like such summertime fun together, don't they? This shoot was part of the commercial photography we did for thenestbaby.com, which is now oline (the printed version will appear on stands in February 2009). Who would have guessed we'd find such a beautiful scenic background in suburban metro Detroit? |

JULY 10, 2008 - "M" and I had fun in Howell, MI on Sunday night. Look at that hair (what I would have given at her age to have hair like that. . . ). We had a beautiful night, perfect natural light, and everyone was still relaxed and and enjoying the Fourth of July weekend. When we finished our photo shoot, we met up with another small cutie. . . Ms. Penny at all of nine weeks old. She had just come home with her new family the day before our shoot. Before you ask, no I do not do pet photography, but I couldn't pass up catching "M" with her brothers and this precious thing in action. |

JULY 5, 2008 - "E" is the epitome of hangin out and relaxing on a cool summer night. Doesn't she look totally at ease and comfy cool in her cotton clothes? She is such a perfect example of what I try to explain to all my clients -- just wear what you feel good in. Be yourself! "E" has such an easy look about her and we had such fun. I've been lucky to have a number of early evening photo shoots lately -- a nice change of pace and different lighting. Check out those beautiful brown eyes! |

July 4, 2008 - I couldn't resist posting this little one because the only word I can use to describe her is "firecracker!" What better day than the Fourth of July to let this little one pop! I think I know what she will wish for this Christmas :) |

I try to resist posting too many shots of my son (I have a whole separate web site for that!), but he is my hardest working model I deemed these couple of shots blog-worthy. A funny story about the shots with the blue hat: we turned the corner down my favorite location shoot spot in Howell, MI only to find a fellow photographer shooting there. As it turns out, the photographer was someone with whom I've been e-mailing and trying to set up coffee for a while. We've never met face-to-face so we didn't know who each other was right away. It was only after about 10 minutes when I asked one of her subjects who she was. What a small world! |
