We met up last Sunday on a COLD, RAINY day in downtown Birmingham for what was planned as a spring editorial shoot complete with two "green" locations and an adorable little pooch. Our "green" location was nothing more than a swamp so instead we turned Birmingham into a "Paris romance" scene with umbrellas and occasional rain.
We were a team of ten including the models, hair, makeup, stylists, production assistants, and me . . . quite a sight to be seen as crowds of passers-by stopped to watch and as we dodged in and out of traffic on the street. Models Derrick Zonca, Caitlin Gwinn, and Asia Hairston braved the elements (it was 35 and windy!) in light cotton apparel most of the time, making it all look natural and effortless. These guys were TRUE professionals and total troopers, definitely some of the best in the biz!
