March 6  |  2010: The Focused Photographer!  Business Builder Kit

One of the greatest joys I have in my business is the ability to to share my experiences and expertise with other photographers.  This is why I began my one-on-one mentor program a few years ago.  Since then, the program has since taken on a life of its own. 

I've loved brightening photographers' futures one light bulb moment at a time and now I aim to serve many more people by creating the Focused Photographer! Business Builder Kit.

This kit is like no other you've ever seen.  It is a top-down, theory and tactics, soup to nuts program that provides a true understanding of how to make and manage money, price for profitability, position and market to a high end niche clientele, and adopt confidence and core beliefs that lead to success.  The kit is as much about growing you as a person as it is about growing your business.  

The Business Builder Kit is visually-guided and includes examples, tutorials, real-world examples, and blank worksheets to accompany the mentoring program or to use on your own.  The kit covers everything from business planning, setting goals, money management, product pricing and promotion, the shoot, post-process, workflow, sales, packaging, business organization, and work-life balance.

March 6  |  2010: "A" Completes her One Year Baby Plan

Could "A" be a cuter child?  I think not.  I know mom and dad are laughing at the big smiles below because our day together last Saturday was a little up, a little down.  Poor little "A" is teething, which is certainly no fun.  She does like presents and going outside, however (despite the fact that it was late February in Michigan), so we did what we had to in order to get a smile.  Notice the first shot in the foyer.  Yep, that's me laying down on the cold, wet porch with the front door wide open and "A" in her cool, brisk glory.  Either way, she's adorable and I had a great time documenting her first year.  Congrats mom and dad on the first of many wonderful milestones to come! :)
